We are seeking peace and tranquillity at sea. Discover what is out there and learn what is learnable
Baliman is an autonomous vehicle designed to travel and report sea conditions.
Baliman is 50cm long and weighs 3 kg. It is powered by 3.5W solar panel and a lithium battery. A full charged battery can last up to 12 hours continuous navigation.
Baliman uses LoRa to send telemetry to base. LoRa is a long range and low power transceiver ideal for mission at sea.
Baliman is permanently sealed. Software updates and configuration is done through OTA (over the air).
One of Baliman project missions is to determine how much pollutant there is at sea. Baliman itself is made of vegetable oil-based plastics. It will degrade fast when submerged in water.
Next prototype for open sea adventure
